About

Search the law. Keep the diary.

Legal World is a research and court-diary workspace for Indian advocates. You find the exact paragraph, check a quote against the judgment, and keep tomorrow's hearings in one place.

What it is

Three parts, one workspace.

  • Research

Search selected Supreme Court, Rajasthan High Court and Allahabad High Court judgments and the bare acts. A result opens at its numbered paragraph, and a quote is marked found word for word, or not found.

    Research
  • Practice

A diary of your matters and hearing dates, drafts from templates with old-code and citation checks, and chambers where work can be passed to a junior.

    Practice
  • Free Library

Bare acts, the IPC to BNS, CrPC to BNSS and Evidence Act to BSA tables, and judgment lists, in English and Hindi. No sign-in needed.

    Free Library
What it is not

A research aid, not a verdict.

Legal World does not write answers or opinions, and it is not legal advice. Imported records, extracted text and unofficial summaries have limits, so read the court's own copy and the official gazette before you cite.

Who builds it

Built by one person, with advocates.

Legal World is built and run by Vinit Khandal, Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. What you report goes to the person who builds it, and what advocates tell us decides what is built next.

How we build

Three rules behind every screen.

  1. Every quote shows its source.

If a quote is not in the judgment, we say so in words.

  2. Your client files stay private.

Only you and the colleagues you add can see them.

  3. Nothing leaves without you.

Client notes wait for your approval.

Beta

In beta, and free while we build.
