Respondent was denied appointment after selection to the post of Constable, as he was involved in a criminal case and his acquittal in that case was not considered honorable acquittal-Appeal against order by Single Judge wherein appellants were directed to accord appointment to respondent-Held-If a person is acquitted of charges for want of evidence; it would not necessarily lead to an inference that acquittal of the person by the court of competent jurisdiction is not honorable-Appeal dismissed
